Let The Networking Begin!
I no longer need my toes to count the days until the 13th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference. It’s a different experience for me now, but even before I joined Greystsone.Net, I looked forward to it every year.
We hear from so many who have attended in the past that while the sessions and exhibit area are terrific, the real value is in the networking. At any session, luncheon or stroll through the exhibit hall, anybody you sit next to or walk by is facing the same challenges. Somebody called it the largest group therapy session in history.
The good news is that there should be no shortage of commiseration and sharing this year, since registrations are ahead of last year’s pace. Given the economy, that’s remarkable.
The other good news is that you don’t need to wait until you are at Caesars to begin the sharing and networking. If you haven’t checked out the networking site for the conference, I highly recommend it.
On that site you’ll find profiles of many of the people who are coming, a number of discussions about how to improve the conference, what kind of relevant meat to add to specific presentations, or suggestions for shows and restaurants. Find people now you want to connect with, or just get a preview of the people you are likely to meet while you are there.
Only a few days left! See you in Vegas, and please stop by the booth to say hello. That’s the best part of the conference!
